Who is Beijer Ref
Beijer Ref is a technology-oriented trading group that offers its customers competitive solutions in the field of cooling and air conditioning by offering products with added value.
The Beijer Ref group, head-quartered in Malmö Sweden is one of the world’s largest distributors of HVAC&R technologies.

The company’s expansion strategy is twofold: to enlarge the geographical landscape and to harmonise the product portfolio and the production. The company intends to produce as an OEM in several sites around the world, and to sell the portfolio everywhere. The company is convinced and optimistic that natural refrigerants will grow. Beijer Ref is therefore keen to enlarge its natural refrigerant portfolio. It is this desire to be at the forefront of new technology development that drives the company’s expansion.

Beijer Ref Support Center
Beijer Ref Support Center is a Beijer Ref company with its head office in Oirschot.
As we can derive from the name it is a support center for Beijer Ref companies. The Beijer Ref Support Center is completely built from scratch with a total space of 12500 square meters.
It is a state of the art building that is equipped with the latest features and with a fully automated Autostore warehouse cube. This robotized spare parts warehouse makes the logistic chain super-efficient and fast.
Within the support center three independant companies are centralized.
Beijer Ref Support BV
Is the head office in the Netherlands and centralises the back office and the general warehouse in the support center. It will support the Beijer Ref companies. For the Benelux these are for example: Beijer Ref Belgium, Celsis, Coolmark BV, ECR Nederland BV en SCM Ref BV.

More than 150 years of Beijer Ref history. From grains and coal to a world leading Group within refrigeration, heating and air-conditioning
1866
The company is founded by the brothers Gottfried and Lorens Beijer, by the company name of G & L Beijer. Initially, the emphasis is on grain but the company gradually moves into coal, pig iron and rolled steel.
1877
A shipping company is formed
1939

1953
Oil replaces Coal
1966
G & L Beijer celebrates its Centenary
2004
Acquisition of Danish refrigeration Group Elsmark. Beijer goes from being the largest in the Nordics to largest in Europe.
2009
The largest acquisition to date means that Carrier’s refrigeration operations will be included in Beijers
2010
Beijer Tech is sold off and G&L Beijer becomes a refined refrigeration distributor.
2011
The deal with Toshiba is effectuated, which gives Beijers exclusivity rights to distribute in 11 countries in Europe.
2014
Beijer Ref becomes the Group’s new name.
2016
Beijer Ref exists 150 years
2018
Beijer Ref acquires its largest acquisition to date by adding Australia's largest refrigeration wholesaler Heatcraft to the group. The Group becomes a worldwide expert in temperature control solutions. Beijer Ref Support Center is established. SCM Ref is established in the Netherlands.
2019
Beijer Ref invests in new plants for green refrigeration technology. Beijer Ref invests in a new head office for the Group's operations in Australia.
2020
Beijer Ref has reached the status of a worldwide Group and leadership that provides global expertise within temperature control solutions with a general turnover of more than 1,4 billion euro.
